Clonmel Mountain Bike Club and all its members are affiliated to Cycling Ireland (CI).
Cycling Ireland members will be covered by insurance as well as having many other benefits.
How do I become a member?

Full Membership: If you are already a member of Cycling Ireland click here to visit the Club Page and sign up. If not please see the steps below.

Associate Membership: Already a member of another cycling club? Cycling Ireland restricts membership to one club only but you can join CMBC as an associate member via this link: EventMaster

Notice: For Members Under 18
For 2026 we are happy to accept under 18 Members, please join clonmel mountain bike club (it is completely FREE to join the club), however, all our members have to be a member of Cycling Ireland.
Join the club via Cycling Ireland, availing of personal accident cover and 3rd party insurance from being a Cycling ireland member, support the club, buy a club jersey, represent the club at races, be a part of the local MTB community.
In short term we will be limited to what youth events we can run, due to the complexity of running such events.
However we will try and improve this as time goes on. If you need more information about your child joining our club don’t hesitate to contact us.

Step 1 - Join Cycling Ireland
Fill out the online registration steps on the Cycling Ireland webpage and pay the appropriate fee online. Join Here

Fill in your details, pick you password, and tick the box that you agree to cycling Irelands terms and conditions (once you have read them of course)

Check your email for your verification code & enter when prompted

When asked ‘Would you like to join an Official Cycling Club?’ – Select ‘YES’

Search for ‘Clonmel MTB’ and continue
Step 2 - Choose Licence

Choose your licence type. The best licence for starting out is typically a Leisure Licence. This will give you insurance cover and still allow you to race, simply by paying for a one day licence on the day of an event. See details on membership types

You can then select your Cycling Ireland membership & Clonmel MTB Club fee

Complete the rest of your details and checkout.
Step 3 - Wait for Approval

Once you have paid, a committee member of Clonmel MTB will be notified and will approve your application to join the club
